DRUID, a company specialized in developing AI-powered chatbots for enterprise companies, announces an agreement with ALTEX, the market leader in consumer electronics in Romania, to simplify human resources processes through AI powered chatbots. The project is executed and implemented together with EY, one of DRUID’s strategic partners.

The solution ALTEX opted for involves using two virtual assistants (chatbots), fully integrated with both the internal HR system and also with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams as well. The first chatbot is focused on simplifying the management of internal HR tasks. This chatbot will collect leave requests, time sheets, requests for delegations, various certificates from over 4000 employees, and will answer instantly to any frequently asked questions related to internal procedures and HR processes. The chatbot’s goal is to reduce repetitive tasks done by managers in over 100 stores, as well as the 2 operators assigned to process HR requests from employees in the headquarters.

The second chatbot is tasked to optimize recruiting and onboarding of new employees in the company, being fully integrated with the careers section of the website. Thus, any new position opening by a store manager is automatically connected to an existing job announcement on the careers section of the website, or a new announcement is created automatically. Candidates will be able to apply directly through the conversational interface enabled by the chatbot, by selecting the announcement, the city they want to apply to and loading their contact information and CV. The chatbot collects the data and uploads them in the internal HR system, uploads the candidate CV in SharePoint and, thanks to the Microsoft Teams integration, sends the information to the recruiting employee. The recruiting agent forwards the application to the hiring manager who opened that position. The manager can download the CV from Sharepoint and schedule the interview, while the candidate will be automatically notified through email.

After the interview, the manager updates the status to approved or rejected. For the admitted applicants, the chatbot requests the necessary documents (ID cards, education diplomas, etc.) for onboarding. Thus, the chatbot is designed to significantly improve time processing and registration times for hundreds of applications received by ALTEX every month.
