What inspired you to start DRUID?
People increasingly seek to perform daily activities independently, without relying on others, and this drive for independence is complemented by the growing need for mobility. I was inspired to start DRUID by recognizing the essential role artificial intelligence can play in addressing the need for self-service. This need has been amplified not only by the pandemic but also by the necessity to access information easily through questions, without the effort of reading or directly navigating through text.
Observing this trend, I saw an opportunity to invest in a conversational platform that could significantly enhance people's lives. DRUID stood out due to its robust technological capabilities and extensive business experience, particularly in ERP and Charisma systems. This unique combination gave us a considerable edge over other competitors, many of whom are more focused on technology alone rather than integrating it with deep business knowledge.
I firmly believe that conversational artificial intelligence can substantially improve people's quality of life.
What does DRUID mean to you?
I have always needed a story to motivate me, to bring out the best and most ambitious in me. Druid represents the best part of me, bringing out all my ambition, energy, and activity. Without it, I couldn't live my life as I do now. So, what I want to say is that DRUID is the story I need to stay motivated in life.
If you were to do something completely different as a job, what would it be?
If I were to do something completely different, I would love to be a teacher. I have actually been a teacher for 10 years at the University, teaching Fortran and Delphi Fortran. Teaching is a natural choice due to my family's tradition - my grandfather and father were both teachers - and my passion for it.
What's a hobby of yours that others at work might find surprising?
I have a passion for visual arts and drawing. I attended art school, and in addition to that, I really enjoy writing. I learned to write because I realized that in the business world, success often depends on the ability to create emotional connections. To truly enjoy writing, one must be able to stir emotions through words. These are the passions that bring me great joy.
What daily habit do you believe contributes most to your success?
Every day, I wake up very early and dedicate time to reading from 3-4 books covering various fields such as history, fiction, stories, and technical articles. This daily habit, particularly emphasized on weekends, allows me to allocate two to three hours in the morning for uninterrupted reading. On weekends, I wake up even earlier to enjoy the peace and quiet necessary for this practice.
This routine is well-known to those around me, including my family, who recognize my passion for rising early and setting aside personal time. I've learned that it's crucial not to become a prisoner of everyday operational life, which can trap you in a routine and prevent you from being yourself. Having a hobby that allows me to reconnect with myself is essential.
