Bucharest, 1 July 2024 - DRUID, a leading technology company specializing in AI-driven conversational business applications, is proud to announce the launch of the AI-powered chatbot "Q," developed in collaboration with the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB). This innovative digital solution aims to meet the informational needs of those interested in learning about the stock market and investments.
The virtual assistant "Q" is accessible on the BVB website (www.bvb.ro) and is currently available in Romanian. It can answer a variety of frequently asked questions related to opening a trading account, listing intermediaries, basic information about listed companies, and fundamental stock market concepts. Currently in a progressive learning phase, users are encouraged to interact with "Q" as much as possible to enhance its understanding of their informational needs. While initial responses may not always be completely accurate, a dedicated team will verify and improve the responses to ensure precision and refine the learning process.
"Continuing our digital efforts to meet the needs of the local investor community in a world where quick access to information is essential, we aim to make investment concepts and the capital market more accessible and easier to understand through this initial version of the 'Q' digital solution. The launch of 'Q' is a dedicated effort to those interested in financial education, who wish to learn more about managing their savings. Through this virtual assistant, BVB is reshaping the way users interact with financial information, paving the way for increased efficiency, automation, and growth within internal processes. Moreover, we are delighted to have implemented this project with the technological support provided by DRUID, a Romanian start-up that participated in our flagship BVB Arena program dedicated to entrepreneurs," stated Adrian Tănase, CEO of the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
Developed using DRUID’s advanced NLP technology and integrated with ChatGPT through Microsoft Azure, "Q" represents a significant advancement in the digitalization of investor interactions. This collaboration between BVB and DRUID marks a new stage in the ongoing digitalization process of the local capital market. "Q" is an ingenious synthesis of DRUID’s NLP technology and the language understanding capabilities offered by the integration with ChatGPT.
Liviu Drăgan, CEO of DRUID, commented, "I am pleased to see DRUID's technology supporting BVB in their digitalization efforts, bringing significant benefits. Our goal was to streamline employee activities by focusing on essential aspects and to provide BVB investors with easier access to relevant information in the complex financial environment. I believe we have achieved this objective through the virtual assistant 'Q,' ensuring a smoother and more efficient interaction."
